What Does It Mean to Raise Your Frequency?

From Healing From Within by Dr. Marlene Fuson, BCND — Chapter 15: Mastering Vibrational Healing
A whole-person approach asks us to look beyond a single symptom or difficult day and notice the patterns surrounding it.
A Lesson From Chapter 15
In everyday language, raising your frequency can describe choosing thoughts, environments, sounds, relationships, and habits that support clarity, peace, gratitude, and purposeful action.
It is not a demand to stay positive or judge difficult emotions as ‘low.’ Authentic healing includes grief, anger, and uncertainty while still making room for connection and hope.
Bring the Idea Into Daily Life
Try the The Frequency Choice List this week:
- Choose one sound or piece of music that helps you feel centered.
- Spend ten minutes in natural light or nature when appropriate.
- Replace one draining input with a nourishing one.
- End the day by naming three moments of genuine gratitude.
Reflection for the Week
Which daily inputs change the quality of your inner environment most quickly?
Write without editing yourself for five minutes. You are not trying to produce the “right” answer; you are creating enough quiet to hear your own honest response.
Your Next Step
Choose one action from this article and practice it for seven days. Keep it small enough to complete even on a difficult day. At the end of the week, ask what felt supportive, what felt forced, and what you want to carry forward.
